American Psychological Association. (2020, October 29). Positive student-teacher relationships benefit students' long-term health, study finds: Positive peer relationships don't show the same long-term health benefits, according to the research. Retrieved from www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2020/10/201029105030.htm.Teenagers who tend to have good and supportive relationships established from their teachers or professors are the ones who will have the tendency to delight in having better health, as they became adults. It is all came from the research that the article based from that is also stated in the article. Although the author has positive points, his article is still lacking information that can lead on the reader’s misunderstanding about the certain points of the article.

The article is about the positive student-teacher relationships that will eventually benefit the student’s long-term health that is supported by the study finds, which is positive peer relationships do not show the same long-term health benefits, according to the research. The article has positive points in a way that it can present and give idea for more subheadings or subtopics for the main topic. The writer also gave the background of the said research that the interviewee is talking, it is also given in a way the readers can understand it easily. At the end of the article, there is also a conclusion ad recommendation in which is aligned from the topic itself.

However, the article was also lacking in different areas. In the article it is not mentioned how a certain research or study has been said or presented in his article. “Previous research has suggested that teens' social relationships might be linked to health outcomes in adulthood perhaps because poor relationships can lead to chronic stress, which can raise a person's risk of health problems over the lifespan, according to Kim.” This line is come from the article, in which the said previous research was not included, the details that can support are cannot be found. Even though it is not the main point of the article, the said previous research will make a difference, in a way that it will clear the questions that the readers are wondering or considering. Clarifications also are quite mysterious, some paragraphs will start on a different note which leads into confusion for readers. The statements are too skin-deep; those cannot support the main topic since it is not technically aligned particularly in the part of explaining the research about the teenager and teachers relationship. The paragraphs also are not consistent in giving important facts into the main topic; in short, the readers can be easily swayed by the change of sequence and be distracted to notice the main idea itself. That ends with the readers left with unanswered questions after reading the article.
