The Movie is entitled "Pride & Prejudice", directed by Joe Wright and released in September 16, 2005. The movie lasted for 2 hours 4 minutes and 13 seconds. In Jane Austen's tale of 19th century in England, Mrs. Bennet wishing to marry her daughters to prosperous gentlemen, including the new arrival of Mr Darcy. Something's changed when Elizabeth Bennet meets single, rich and proud Mr. Darcy. But Mr. Darcy found himself falling in love with a woman beneath his class/status. Can each overcome their own pride and prejudice? The movie shows an example of the genre comedy of manners.

Mrs. Bennet has 5 daughters namely Jane, Elizabeth or Lizzie, Lydia, Mary, and Kitty. Mr Bingley took a nearby mansion specifically in the Netherfield to be his residence while he stays in that place where the Bennet's nearly live in. A ball partake dances were everywhere, Jane and Mr. Bingley dance together almost all the night. At the Bennet's dinner a letter was been sent to Jane inviting her to come over to dine by Caroline Bingley. She went there despite of the bad weather that is being noticed. Her Mama of course had a plan and that is to let her have such an illness due of the rain while riding in a horseback for her not go back as soon as possible. Mr. Bingley always utter or rather speak some confusing and misleading phrases. Mr. Collins entered their house with the saying of marrying one of the Bennet's sisters. Not the eldest one according to Mrs. Bennet she is nearly to be engage. Mr. Wickham crossed the Bennet's sister in Meryton. Elizabeth and Mr. Wickham had a talk about his attainment to Mr. Darcy's life said to be since his infancy. Another ball occurred Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth had a talk while dancing. The day passed, in the morning where the Bennet's were having their breakfast Mr. Collins excused to let himself talk to Elizabeth and proposed to her. Elizabeth refused to him in every way of explanation Mr. Collins gives. Charlotte became engage to Mr. Collins said to Elizabeth not to judge her based on what she did. Elizabeth visits charlotte after being married with Mr. Collins while her stay her Ladyship invited them to dinner where Elizabeth crossed paths again to Mr. Darcy. Mr. Darcy said that he is difficult to talk with someone he barely knew. In the morning Mr. Darcy immediately intruded the home where Elizabeth stays. He didn't say much and bid goodbye. In the midst of the rain Elizabeth run into a little shelter Mr. Darcy was there and it surprised her. Mr. Darcy confessed and said "I love you". Ending their conversation with arguments and judgments were laid. About Jane, the Bennet's whole family and even Mr. Wickham questioned in their conversation. Mr. Darcy left a letter to tell his side to Elizabeth. Elizabeth went home and there her sister Jane came back from London and said to be over about Mr. Bingley. Lydia was been invited to stay in Brighton. Elizabeth came to join the company of her aunt and uncle. They went to Mr. Darcy's mansion. Mr. Darcy saw her and started a conversation to her. Mr. Darcy wasn't supposed to be there and supposed to be in London. They were been invited to join them for dinner since his sister wants to see Elizabeth. Elizabeth received a letter from Jane saying Lydia has run away with Mr. Wickham. When she got home a letter from their uncle from London saying Lydia was found and married already. Lydia slipped and told Elizabeth about them being found by Mr. Darcy. Mr. Bingley and Mr. Darcy came to their home. Mr. Bingley proposed to Jane and she accepted it. The aunt of Mr. Darcy intruded in the middle of the night, confronted Elizabeth that she should not be engage to Mr. Darcy as her daughter should be the one who will be engage with him. Elizabeth walking in the garden while Mr. Darcy walking towards her too. He confessed and she accepted it. They went to her father to ask for blessing. Her father gave them the blessing. Camera techniques and angles are on point. It shows the different perspective of the characters clearly. Sound compromises and fits well in the scene that is happening. The lightings gave justice to the emotions that should be delivered not just by expressing it verbally.

The movie has flaws of course not a single production would be perfect. To think it is a 19th century era movie respect is on the top priority to be pictured and observed. But in this movie you can see some inappropriate words that in the modern years like nowadays were being used. For example, Mr. Darcy used a word a** for he is saying his behavior is foolish. They should just gave an example of a real and accurate 19th century acts, beliefs and gestures for the future generation to know what is like before. Also in this movie you observe that in all balls that they went to have an alcohol content having a sight of less socially proper acts and behavior from Mrs. Bennet's including her younger daughters. To add, the movie shows a different side of men before that they should gather themselves first and be sure that he is ready to be married to the girl he wants. Mr. Darcy find it so difficult to talk and express himself to the girl he wants namely Elizabeth. In the middle of the movie we can see that Mr. Darcy expressed himself beautifully but being doubt by Elizabeth since she heard the side of Mr. Wickham first that made Mr. Darcy bad in her mind. In the end Mr. Darcy confessed again but this time Elizabeth accepted him as she realize about her misconceptions about who he is.

The movie will give the audience implications and impacts to their minds, morals that they could apply in their lives. The movie will teach you 3 lessons. First, is about being proud. Thinking so highly about yourself that no one can be same as you everyone who is lower than you doesn't deserve you. That kind of thinking will definitely will give you harm. Don't be too proud like Mr. Darcy if you would, it would be a difficult thing that you will encounter especially when you be in love. Second, is about prejudging a person. Who are we to judge a person that we just met and didn't know even a tiny thing about him or her, don't be like Elizabeth. He judge Mr. Darcy the moment her eyes laid on him. Also when Mr. Wickham told his story that made Mr. Darcy looked so bad not knowing his side. It will be such a nuisance for herself in time. Lastly, is all about love. Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth's story is a good example of being in love. It is a wise decision that they have made for the both of them. They made sure that they are both ready and gathered their emotions to be in a relationship where the pride has been lowered and prejudice has been nowhere to find. In that case everything will fall on their places and will result to a good relationship.
